I am sure it is probably not a huge surprise, but I love the Food Network and have tried a recipe from almost every Food Network star. By far, my favorite chef is Giada. Every one of her recipes, I have loved and this recipe is no exception: rosemary scones with strawberry jam. I know it sounds like a weird combination, but it is delicious! It is also a great year-round recipe with rosemary being a popular winter/Christmas herb and fresh jam being a popular spring/summer treat!

This is also a perfect recipe for a brunch or tea party or bridal shower because it is a little bit unique but classy at the same time. Here is a link to her recipe: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/strawberry-and-rosemary-scones-recipe/index.html I pretty much follow the recipe exactly as stated except I don’t put on the glaze. It is a little bit too sweet and sticky for me with the glaze and I like it just as much, if not more, without the extra sugar (but this is also coming from someone who prefers cake without frosting).

For those of you, like me, who don’t have any cookie cutters, you can use a glass overturned to create simple circles for your cookies! For those of you, like Lacie, who has at least 2 or 3 cookie cutters for every type of occasion, feel free to make these in all different shapes! Also, feel free to use your favorite type of jam, I’ve tried it with strawberry and raspberry jam and they are both delicious!
